THE FIL ROUGE OF MAGLIERIA GZ
For over 40 years Maglieria GZ have followed the fil rouge of knitwear Made in Italy.
The company was founded in Treviso, Veneto region, with the purpose of carrying one of the most traditional and artisanal Italian symbols: the Italian knitwear.
Since 1982 the company has been headed by Antonio Zanchetta. He began his career as a textile worker and after a long period of training in knitting techniques he felt prepared to start his own business. It was time for him to put into practice his knowledge of fibres and stiches, and exercise his talent to achieve a very important goal: improving the fitting of the garment to get the perfect effect.
He founded a small lab dedicated only to outsourcing knitting in Treviso province.
It was the 80’s, the years of the revolution of attitudes and especially of fashion.
The entire world was evolving and focused on Italian luxury fashion, which became well known everywhere because of many talented Italian stylists and craftsmen.
Luxury fashion and knitwear are two industries that grew at the same pace: creativity of the stylists joins the textile ability of the knitters.
To be part of the fashion industry we had to review the company structure. After an upgrade, the company became a reference point for knitwear in the Veneto region and in Italy.
Quality and craftsmanship were not enough.
To meet the requests of our clients we enlarged the range of our services: the client can follow the entire development process of the knitwear collection. We source the yarn, we develop the sample, knit and finish the garments, and finally we ship the product.

We share with them our passion for quality and knitwear. Among our clients we have brands and fashion designers well-known internationally for their quality.
